The Design for the Environment (DfE) Program is one of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) most valued partnership programs. EPA allows safer products to carry the Design for the Environment (DfE) label. This mark enables consumers to quickly identify and choose products that can help protect the environment and are safer for families. These products are formulated from the safest possible ingredients. Before DfE allows the logo on a product, DfE makes sure that only the safest ingredients from each class are used.
